1. Read Acts 1:3-8. When Jesus spoke these words, His followers didn’t even know North America existed. How does it change your perspective to know that you are a part of the fulfillment of this prophecy?
2. In your opinion, what is the most amazing aspect of the spread of Christianity throughout the globe?
3. Read Matthew 28:19-20. Nothing can explain the spread of Christianity except for the fact that Jesus has been with us. How does this impact your perspective on missions?
4. Have you ever been on a mission trip? What was your experience?
5. How do you feel about going on a mission trip this year? Excited? Hesitant? Why would you go? What would keep you from going?
6. As a group, how will you engage in what God is doing in the world this year? (Ex. Your group could pray for a specific short-term trip. Your group could raise money to support a short-term trip. Your group could go on a short-term trip together.)
